FAQ
How do I make an appointment?
You can book an appointment by contacting me directly via phone or email. We will then set a time to have a free consultation so I can learn more about your therapeutic needs.
How much does therapy cost?
The cost of therapy depends on the length of the session. The most common session length is 50 minutes. I also offer 90 minute sessions, primarily for couples and families. Your individualized fee and therapeutic needs will be discussed during the consultation session.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance. I am considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. I can provide you with a “superbill” or monthly statement that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
How often are sessions? How long does therapy last?
I recommend that new clients start with weekly sessions. Building a therapeutic relationship takes time and deepens over many months and even years. I know that weekly sessions do not fit everyone’s lifestyle, and I am open to what works best for you.
Therapy lasts as long as you want it to. Some clients come to therapy to get support during a crisis and other clients are looking for ongoing therapy for anxiety, depression or trauma.
