Jennie began working in the non-profit sector as a Crisis Advocate and Case Manager at RISE, a domestic violence and rape crisis center in San Luis Obispo, California. Then she transitioned to a position as a therapist trainee at Open Paths Counseling Center in Culver City. There she facilitated group therapy and offered therapeutic counseling to adults, couples and children.

She also worked as a Program Coordinator at the Independence Center where she developed group therapy programming for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.

Jennie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). She received her B.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. She has also received training in EMDR therapy to better serve clients who have experienced trauma.
